Built from 1865 to 1867, Aradale or the Ararat Lunatic Asylum has many stairs. Our standard tour of this very large site uses at least 5 sets of stairs and there is no alternative access. There are pathways around the ground floors, but a special tour would need to be arranged to stay on this level and bypass stairs.
